Obituary

Michael Gordon Harrington, 75, of West Des Moines, IA, passed away on September 23, 2024, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

Michael was born February 25, 1949, in Vermillion, SD, son of Gordon LeRoy and Glennys Marian Marcene (Holmes) Harrington. In 1988 he moved to Des Moines and on July 4, 1996, he married Carole Rae Boo in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Michael worked as a Chemical Sales Rep for many years.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, wife Carole, and a brother James.

Michael is survived by his children, Marlo, Meggan and Nathan, a step daughter Laurie, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and two sisters Patricia and Kathy.

Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens in Des Moines.
