Obituary

Timothy Gene Schwartz, Jr., 20, of Des Moines, Iowa died at home on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. He was born March 31, 2004 in Des Moines to Timothy Gene & Danielle (Rice) Schwartz, Sr.

Tim was educated in Des Moines and employed as a roofer. In his spare time he loved to fish, attend concerts with his grandfather, Papa, and being an amateur horticulturist.

Survivors include mother Danielle Schwartz, sisters Nova & Nevaeh Schwartz, fiancé Cynthia Flores, son T. G. Schwartz, III due in September, brothers Joshua Witrock, Tommy Witrock, and Brandon Jaeger, uncles David (Angie) Rice, Jacob Bullington, and Brandon Gibson, aunts Brittany (Matt) Welker, Amanda Kelly, and Erica Burrage, grand parents Casey (Tammy) Bullington, David Rice, Sr., Carol (Marty) Methany, and Tom Schwartz.

He was preceded in death by his father Timothy Gene Schwartz, Sr., and maternal grandparents.

Tim’s family will greet friends from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Iles Grandview Park Chapel, 3211 Hubbell Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50317. Cremation will follow the visitation service.

Memorials may be made to Tim’s family.
